MÉLO (Mélodie Roulaud) is a London-based French film director and photographer with a background in film production, documentary, advertising, and fashion. Her work focuses on representations of our bodies and lived experiences.
Her moving image practice spans different genres such as global TV commercial campaigns, documentaries, fashion films, and portraits. Her photography practice focuses on portrait and documentary photography capturing fleeting moments with an element of lightness and stillness.
MÉLO is also a part-time lecturer on the Creative Direction For fashion BA (Hon) at the London College of Fashion.
Clients include Dove, Durex, Nowness, Stylist Magazine, All Saints, Jaguar, Nevs Models, and Tiffany & Co.
